Turkish Soup - Ezogelin

Hmm not sure if it was spot on but never the less I made it the other day to combat this horrid cold I have

Here is how I did it and used

1-2 onions finely chopped
garlic (depending on your taste) finely chopped
1 chilli deseeded and sliced finely
1 tin of tomatoes
red lentils
buldur wheat
Hot water (stock is optional)
oil (couple of table spoons)
tomato puree

Heat oil in a deep pot
add in onions, garlic and chillie and cook until onions turn in colour but not burn
Add in tomotoe and the puree and stir
add in lentils and wheat
Water now and seasoning
Stir well and let all come up to boil
Lower the heat till simmer cover with lid and allow to slow cook until wheat and lentils became very soft

Serve hot with fresh bread.
